How it works · Step 2 of 3
Build the recipe
You confirm every ingredient, and every weight says how sure it is.
2a. Find and confirm ingredients
Search USDA's real food data, or paste an existing recipe and we suggest matches. You confirm each one yourself; when a food could be raw or cooked, we ask, because the numbers differ.
2b. Enter weights and see the tags
Weigh in grams or ounces, or use a household measure like a cup. Each weight is tagged Measured, Estimated or Rough estimate, and the recipe's totals are only as confident as their least confident ingredient.
